our story
Aberfeldie Fitness Co provides group outdoor training in all seasons at Aberfeldie Park by the Maribyrnong River. Our customers come from across Melbourne’s Inner North West – Aberfeldie, Essendon, Moonee Ponds, Ascot Vale and surrounding areas.
We believe that outdoor fitness training offers multiple benefits, from sunshine and fresh air to the stress-reducing experience of exercising in nature.
We welcome people of all ages and fitness. Whether you’re just starting out, returning to exercise after a break or have been training for years, we have sessions to suit you.
Our trainers have over 10 years of experience in providing group outdoor personal training. Our classes are designed to improve the cardio-vascular fitness and strength and endurance of our clients and assist in weight loss and overall wellbeing.
Our training sessions include CardioRun, Strength & Tone, Kickbox and Strength & Flex, which allow us to design the correct fitness program to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

Before I joined Aberfeldie Fitness Co, I could run about 4 kilometres. During my first few sessions, Phil taught me how to breath and how to run effectively. Within 6 months, I did my first 10km fun run and with his continual guidance and encouragement, I had the confidence to enter the 15km Run for the Kids. I really enjoy training with Phil at Aberfeldie Fitness Co. When I first started, I could barely run more than 300 metres, but now have a few 10km and 15km fun runs under my belt. My next mission is a half marathon!
Training with Phil is great fun and the whole AFCo group is so supportive and friendly. Having the Maribyrnong River as a backdrop is a nice bonus too! I’d highly recommend it to anyone.
